Given the theft of information suffered by the Chilean Human Rights Commission, we express our repudiation and the broadest solidarity.
The theft of sensitive human rights information, and in particular information related to the registration of judicial actions by victims of human rights violations that have taken place in our country since October 18, merits the most prompt and thorough investigation in order to identify those responsible.
In the times we live in, the theft of this information can be interpreted as an act of intimidation to all human rights organizations, which is unacceptable.
CODEPU reiterates its solidarity with the Chilean Human Rights Commission and reaffirms its willingness to continue striving for the respect for human rights in our country.
